Washington State Park Twilight Trek & Taste April 30

April 20, 2022

JEFFERSON CITY– Join Washington State Park team members for an evening of trekking and tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30th.

This event begins with a guided twilight hike and ends at one of the park's shelters for complimentary tastings from participating vendors, including Edg-Clif Winery of Potosi. A variety of vendors will have products and concessions available for purchase.

This event will include two hike options. The first option is the Twilight Hike, an approximately 1-mile hike that includes a view over the Big River Valley from the trail's CCC overlook shelter, and begins at 6 p.m. The second option is the Twilight Stroll, which is approximately one-half-mile, following the base of the trail and is guided by lantern light. The Twilight Stroll will be offered at 6:45 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

Both hike options will take place on portions of the 1,000 Steps Trail. This trail is a rugged, natural surface trail. Please dress accordingly for this outdoor experience.

Due to the nature of this event, all attendees must be age 21 or older and no pets are allowed.
