OVERDOSE AWARENESS PICNIC OFFERS SUPPORT

On Saturday, August 31st - Overdose Awareness Day and Random Acts of Kindness Day in Missouri - a good number of participants were at the Washington County Health Department from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There were several agencies and organizations in attendance with tables of information and give away items. A service was held to remember those that had succumbed to overdose and the need to support each other through everyone’s daily lives. There were hot dogs, face painting, Kona ice and several food and personal items given away during the day. The W.C.H.D. organizers thanked everyone for their participation and support.
