Donna "Abigail" de Rond, born on March 19, 1949, in San Francisco, California, passed away suddenly on October 11, 2024. Abigail dedicated her life to the ministry of others and serving the Lord, embodying a spirit of kindness, love, and compassion that touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Throughout her life, Abigail was known for her helpful and caring nature. She engaged in missionary work and traveled extensively, sharing her faith and love for humanity. Her interests also included animal husbandry and music, hobbies that reflected her nurturing spirit and love for all living things. These pursuits not only brought joy to her life but also served as a means of connecting with others, spreading kindness and creating lasting relationships.
Abigail took immense pride in her accomplishments, particularly in serving others. Her unwavering commitment to her community and her faith has left a profound impact that will be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband, Nicolaas “Klaus” de Rond, her children, Jennifer and Jefferson, six grandchildren and many other friends who will remember her for her warmth and generosity of spirit.
Abigail will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and service to others will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 20th from 2 to 4 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. A memorial service began at 4 P.M. with Pastor Lloyd Pierce officiating.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
