Roger Dale Dabbs

Roger Dale Dabbs of Richwoods was born on June 26, 1960 in Aurora, Illinois, a son to Kenneth Dale and the late Lena Gray (Cleary) Dabbs. Roger departed this life on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson having reached the age of 62 years, 6 months and 16 days.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his father, Kenneth Dabbs; wife, Anita (Harsh) Dabbs; daughter, Valerie Evans; three step children, Charles Danford Jr., Scott Danford (wife, Lisa), and Crystal Richards; two grandsons, Jason Archer Jr. and Tyler Archer and fifteen step grandchildren; Roger also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Dabbs; a step grandson, Alex; brother, Larry Dabbs and many other dear relatives.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 17th from 9 A.M. until the time of his funeral service at 11 A.M. held at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi. Interment followed at the Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, beginning at 2:45 PM.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
