SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING BANQUET FOR CARING HEARTS

The Caring Hearts Pregnancy Resource Center was able to again hold its Annual Banquet at the First Baptist Church of Potosi on Thursday, April 15th, 2021. The attendance was down just a little but the faithful made this year’s fund raiser the most successful so far for Caring Hearts P.R.C., raising over $40,000. The Banquet was served by Black Bird Cafe and enjoyed by many. Following the dinner, the group adjorned to the church sanctuary to hear a presentation by Executive Director Kayla Smith and guest speaker Kathy Sparks from Illinois. Mrs. Sparks, left, and Mrs. Smith, right, talked about the virtues and successes of Caring Hearts and opportunity to support young women and families in the community.
