75TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

February 12, 2021

The children of Orville “Corky” and Melba Rasnic McGee are happy to announce their parents’ 75th wedding anniversary. Corky and Melba were married on February 9, 1946 at the Baptist Church in Leadwood, Missouri. They have been blessed with three children: Dennis (Judy Kreisle) McGee, Karen (Michael) Compton, and Linda (Howard) Flanery. They have eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Corky worked for St. Joe Lead Company in Flat River and Viburnum, and then worked at the Pea Ridge Mine for Meramac Mining Company near Sullivan, Missouri. Melba worked at Town and Country Beauty Salon in Potosi. They have lived and worked on their farm since 1951. After retirement, they enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping, and spending time with their growing family. Corky was asked what is needed to have a long and happy marriage. His answer: “Start early and find a good woman.” Congratulations Mom and Dad! We love you! (Submitted Photo)
