POTOSI R-3’s FEMA BUILDING UPDATE 1/21/2021

POTOSI R-3’s FEMA BUILDING is now up and under roof. Brockmiller Construction of Farmington has the pre-cast wall structure panels and roof girders in place and the concrete roof poured and is now working to finishing the building. The concrete roof caps the structure and now interior work is getting underway as it is enclosed. The building is a 90-10 FEMA Grant Project for the R-3 School District. The addition will be a general purpose ‘gym’ room that the school district can use year ‘round. The new structure is at the East end of the Potosi Elementary School. The Brockmiller crew foreman said this is the 6th building that they have constructed like this and it has gone together very well so far. The added space will be a welcome addition for the Elementary as it will provide an indoor play area for the students when there is inclement weather along with multi-use for the District and public.
