WASHINGTON COUNTY ELECTED SWORN IN

On Thursday, Dec. 31st, 2020 the elected officials from the November 2020 General Election were sworn in to their respective offices by Washington County Clerk Jenny Allen at the Courthouse. Above, from left are, 2nd District County Commissioner Cody Brinley; County Circuit Clerk Ashley Gum; Public Administrator Judy Gillam; 1st District Commissioner Doug Short and County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen. The group was sworn in last Thursday morning with a small group on hand to witness the official event. At left, newly elected County Coroner Steve Hatfield was sworn in by County Clerk Jenny Allen on Wednesday, Dec. 30th, 2020 as he was to be out of town on the 31st. Cody Brinley, Doug Short and Zach Jacobsen were re-elected and Ashley Gum and Judy Gillam were newly elected to their positions with both serving previously by appointment. Hatfield has served the County as Deputy Coroner for many, many years.
