Potosi R-3 X Country Invitational Trojan Meet At City Park Held Saturday, 10th

The Running Potosi Trojans home meet was Saturday, October 10th at the Potosi City Park. 

The Saturday schedule was:

10:30 a.m. - Varsity Boys

11 a.m. - Varsity Girls

11:30 a.m. - J.V. Boys

12 noon - J.V. Girls

12:30 p.m. - Middle School Boys

1 p.m. - Middle School Girls

It was beautiful weather for the 670 runners and 31 schools at the Potosi Invitational Cross Country Meet this past Saturday.

The Potosi High Varsity Boys and Girls took 2nd Place in the MAAA Conference close behind Farmington. 

Overall, both Varsity Boys and Girls took 3rd place in the Invitational.

The J.V. Boys were 1st overall and the J.V. Girls were 2nd overall for the meet.

Varsity Race earn All-Conference honors.

Earning All-Conference for the Trojans were Celeste Sansegraw 4th, Hallie Portell 5th, Gracie Schutz 8th, Kaydence Gibson 10th for the girls.

For the guys it was Zeke Sisk 7th, Garrett Hale 10th, and Will Jarvis 11th.

The weather was great and the support from the community was again wonderful. The Potosi Invitational has a great reputation that the whole community helps live up to!

Next up for the Trojans is the Farmington Invitational Saturday, October 17th.
