Norma Bequette

Norma Theresa Bequette was born on November 15, 1932 in Blackwell. She was the daughter of Chester & Mary Louise (nee Boyer) Bourisaw. She passed away on June 7, 2021 at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center in Festus at the age of 88.

Norma is survived by her sisters, Verna (Sylvester “Pill”) Pratt of Crystal City; Rita (the late Earl) Johnston of DeSoto; sister-in-law, Marge Bourisaw of Festus; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sylvester “Tip” Bequette; and siblings, Thomas Bourisaw, Judy (Ray) Carter, Mary Ann (Charles) Rice, and Joseph (Mildred) Bourisaw.

Visitation was held Friday, June 11th from 5-8 P.M. at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass was held Saturday, June 12th at 10 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines. Interment followed in St. Joachim Parish Cemetery in Old Mines.
