Washington County Circuit Clerk Ashley Gum is pleased to announce the offices relocation to the new Court Annex at 104 North Missouri Street, next to the Courthouse.

The renovation project is nearly complete and the Circuit Clerk’s Office as well as the Assoc. Circuit Division are planning their move starting this coming Monday, June 14th.

Circuit Clerk Gum released the following via social media and by email on Monday, June 7th, 2021:
“During the week of June 14th through the 18th, 2021, the Washington County Circuit Clerk’s Office, including the Associate Circuit Division, will be relocating to the newly renovated Courthouse Annex located at 104 North Missouri Street.

During this period of transition, the routine services provided by the Clerk’s Office will be limited to emergency services only.

We ask the public for their patience and assistance during this time. If you are contemplating filing an action, or conducting other business with the court, we ask that you do so prior to the move or wait until after our relocation.

We are excited about the move, and look forward to serving the citizens of Washington County in our new facility.”

Thank you,

Ashley Gum

Washington County Circuit Clerk

Circuit Clerk Gum said that like with any move, there are a lot of small things to take care of and we sincerely appreciate the public’s understanding while we work to get set up in our new offices.

Ashley said, “We’ve got offices, files and people to move, and we’ve to get situated in our new surroundings. We’re asking that people give us the week to get moved and put back together.”

The Circuit Clerk noted that they all will be available if an emergency situation arises and has to be addressed.

Phone systems, computer systems, etc. all have to be moved and reconnected during the move. Mrs. Gum said they hope to take the week and be ‘back in business’ on Monday, June 21st, 2021.
