From April 9, 1970 Edition... RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. BOYER

Mrs. Margaret Mary Boyer of Old Mines, widow of Alfred Boyer, departed this life on Monday, March 23, 1970 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Boyer) Bourisaw, she was born at Cannon Mines, Mo. on November 11, 1890, being 79 years, 4 months and 12 days of age at the time of her passing.

Miss Margaret Bourisaw was united in marriage to Alfred Boyer to which union 5 children were born, all of whom survive. They include: three sons- Bernard, of Kirkwood; John and Ralph of Old Mines; and two daughters- Lou Ann of Elvins and Margaret (Mrs. Daniel Longeway) of Chicago, Ill.

In addition to her children, Mrs. Boyer leaves to mourn her passing, six grandchildren, 1 brother, Firmin Bourisaw of Belleview, Mo. and 2 sisters- Miss Louise Bourisaw of Old Mines and Mrs. Josephine Boyer of Lemay and a host of other relatives and friends. One sister preceded her in death.

Parish Rosary was recited at the Gum & Son Chapel on Wednesday evening, March 25 led by Rev. Bernard Sullentrop.

Requiem Mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 1970, 9:30 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church with Rev. Edward Schramm as celebrant.

Interment in the Parish Cemetery was under the direction of Gum & Son Funeral Service, Potosi.
