From May 5, 1960 Edition... FORMER POTOSIAN DIES AT HOME NEAR HALLSVILE

B.H. Algier, 70 years old, a former Potosian, was found dead at his home on Route Two, Hallsville, Mo., on Saturday, April 23. He had apparently died the previous Tuesday night or Wednesday morning of a heart attack.

Mr. Algier was born in Potosi, the son of Tony and Mary Algiere. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Hallsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons: Chester, Route 7, Hallsville; Lester and Clyde, of Columbia; and D.N. (Al), Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Davis and Mrs. Lawrence Frese, Columbia, and Mrs. Gerald House, Temple, Tex.; besides several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
