Knights of Columbus Cancel Ash Wednesday Fish Fry Due to Inclement Weather

The Knights of Columbus at Old Mines have planned a series of Lenten Fish Fries at the K.C. Hall on Hwy. 21.

The dinner series for Ash Wednesday, February 17th will be cancelled due to inclement weather

Fish fries are set for Friday, February 19th, March 5th & 19th and April 2nd, 2021. Times are from 3 to 7 p.m. or ‘sold out’, if earlier than planned.

The menu will feature catfish or a catfish & shrimp combo served with baked beans, potato wedges and coleslaw. The carry out dinner plate will be $10 and available from 3 to 7 p.m. (or until sold out).

All meals will be served as drive thru only at this time.

The Lenten series is a long standing tradition at the K.C.’s in Old Mines and is always enjoyed by many throughout the area.
