COVID VACCINATION CLINIC HELD LAST THURSDAY & FRIDAY

The Washington County Ambulance District garage was the site for the first coordinated Vaccine Clinics on Thursday, Jan. 28th and Friday, Jan. 29th, this past week. Organizers reported 300 doses of vaccine delivered on Thursday and 294 doses on Friday for area residents that met the first criteria for shots. Over 60 health care workers, staff and volunteers worked together to put on the clinics. Representatives from the Health Department, Ambulance District, Hospital, Great Mines and the County all thanked the staff and volunteers for their efforts and care. The team is ready to deliver more vaccine when it becomes available.
