Amos Adams

William Amos Adams, known to all as Amos, of Potosi was born November 16, 1932 in Cadet, a son to the late Laura Melvina (LaChance) Adams and Charles Frank Adams. Amos departed this life Tuesday, January 12, 2021 having reached the age of 88 years, 1 month and 27 days.
Amos is survived by a sister- in-law, Verniece Adams – Snyder of Pilot Knob and many other nieces, nephews other special relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Amos was preceded in death by his sisters, Opal Abrams, Dean Sanchegraw, Katherine Manion; brothers, Clarence Adams, Everett Adams, Roy Adams, Theodore Adams and Alfred Adams.
Amos was a hard worker and always greeted everyone with a firm handshake. He worked as a truck driver for many years and always took the time to help others in need. His hard work ethic and kindness towards others will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation for Amos was held Saturday, January 16th from 9 -11 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 16th at 11 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Compton officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery in Caledonia.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
