MaryAnn Isert, born on September 28, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois passed away on June 29, 2025. A devoted wife and proud mother, MaryAnn is remembered for her loving nature and her unwavering commitment to family.
MaryAnn was united in marriage to the late Ron Isert on January 25, 1986, and together they shared 33 wonderful years. She was a nurturing figure, embodying the essence of love and support in her roles as a mother and grandmother. Her family is grateful for the treasured memories she created and the values she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
MaryAnn is survived by her daughters, Brittany Wicker and husband Thomas, and Marlene Delong; her sons, Brian Isert and Ronald "Butch" Isert II; her brother, James Wood; and a host of beloved grandchildren including Michael Carter, and George Springs, Elizabeth and Katelynn Isert, Ralph Rodriguez, Brayden and Kaylee Wicker, Josh and Keith Taylor, Freya and Aurora Isert. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Ryan, George and Gabriel, who were a source of immense joy for her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron Isert; her son, Lloyd DeLong; her daughter, Renee Springs; and her parents, Rita (Peterson) Wood and Lloyd Wood. MaryAnn also mourned the loss of her sister, Judy Ivie, and brother, Clifton Wood.
Valued for her passion for reading, her love of watching the news, and her dedication to helping care for her grandchildren, MaryAnn lived a life rich in love and kindness. Her proudest accomplishments were her family and the deep connections she fostered with each member. She approached life with an interconnectedness that inspired those who knew her.
Visitation for MaryAnn was held on Monday, July 7th at 10 A.M. with her funeral beginning at 12 Noon the same day with Pastor Gary Greenlee and Pastor Lloyd Pierce officiating. All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
