Mark David Griffin
Mark David Griffin, born on May 28, 1961 in Dexter, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the age of 64. He was a beloved son of the late Lowan Griffin and Joyce (Ezell) Griffin.
Mark graduated from Potosi High School in the Class of 1979. He dedicated many years to working as an iron worker with Iron Workers Local 396 of St. Louis, where he ultimately retired. Mark lived a simple life and found peace in the tranquility of the country where he resided. In his younger years, Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing, though in recent times, his passion had shifted primarily to fishing. 
Mark leaves behind two sons, Caleb Griffin and Tyler (Breanna) Griffin. Mark was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, Jaiden (Wyatt) Bust, Ella Griffin, Garrett (Kirstin) Ciskowski, and Anna Griffin. Additionally, he is survived by five great grandchildren, Jagger, Maverick, Holden, Kimber, and Kashton; his three siblings, Tijuanna "Tootie" (John) Sifford, Roland "Bub" Griffin, and William (Sheila) Griffin, as well as his nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his father and mother, Mark was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kelly Griffin. 
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
