Grayson Anthony Rasnic

Grayson Anthony Rasnic, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Born on August 17, 1970, Grayson was a man known for his bright personality and infectious smile, which could light up any room he entered. He spent his career as a maintenance supervisor, where his work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and friends.
Grayson had an extraordinary knack for storytelling. His humorous tales would captivate listeners, making them feel as if they were right there alongside him in every adventure he recounted. Whether it was through his artistic pursuits or his love for sports, especially football and baseball, Grayson’s joyful spirit was evident. He cherished moments spent gaming with his sons, friends, and nephews, creating bonds that would last a lifetime. His playful nature was highlighted by his penchant for photo bombing, always ready to bring a dash of mischief and fun to gatherings. Grayson was also a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of DeSoto. 
He is survived by his two sons, Ethan and Griffin Rasnic; his beloved siblings, Mark Rasnic (wife, Dawn), Becky Sampson (husband, Tom), Angie Weston (husband, Skip), and Joe Hochstatter (wife, Greta). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Grayson was predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Laverne (Maness) Rasnic, and his stepmother, Ruth Rasnic.
A private graveside service was held at Adams Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
