Martha Mearseal

Martha Cecilia Mearseal, lovingly known as "Pie", was born on April 26, 1942 in Cadet, and departed from this life on May 2, 2025.
Martha was a person of immense kindness and compassion, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her fun-loving spirit brought joy to those around her, and she cherished every moment spent with family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time outdoors, pursuits that allowed her to express her creativity and enjoy the beauty of nature. She dedicated many years of her professional life to NHC Healthcare, where her commitment to caring for others was evident to all who knew her.
Martha's proudest accomplishments centered on being a loving mother and grandmother. She was beloved by her family and is survived by her daughter, Charlann Hamelton and Randy Nash; sisters, Della Walls, Alice Noack, and Ilene Allen; brothers, Kenneth Boyer, Virgil Boyer and Debbie; grandchildren, James, Joshua, and Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Haylie, Taylor, Logan, Parker, along with many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Barbara Mearseal; sons, Thomas and Kenneth Mearseal; sister, Gene Wright; brothers, Marvin, Glennon, and Joseph Boyer; along with her mother, Lula (Oshia) Boyer, and father, Patrick Boyer.
Visitation for Martha was held Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 12 Noon to 3 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with a memorial service beginning at 3 P.M. with Pastor William Allen officiating. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
