David Wayne Trousdale known to friends and family as Dave was born on December 7, 1958, in St. Louis and passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was a proud Navy man who dedicated a significant part of his life serving in the boiler room on ships. Dave's commitment to his country was a testament to his character and strength.
Beyond his military service, Dave had various interests that reflected his love for nature and history. He was an avid admirer of rocks and mineral information, finding joy in the beauty of the mountains, outdoor vistas, and the serenity of sunsets. He cherished the simple pleasures of life, often spending time outdoors, fishing, and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Dave also had a passion for history, particularly regarding military conflicts, which he enjoyed exploring through documentaries and war movies.
Dave is survived by his daughter, Debbie Cain; his son, Kenneth Nash; his grandchildren, Hailey Cain, Nathaniel Cain, and Logan Williams; and his great-grandson, Thaddeus Cain. Dave's legacy also continues in the hearts of his many extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loomis and Geraldine (Roberts) Trousdale, and his partner, Norma Williams. David's spirit and memories will forever linger in the lives he touched and the hearts he inspired.
