Joseph "Joe" Patrick Daugherty

Joseph Patrick Daugherty, 89, of Cadet, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 30, 2025 in Cadet.  
He was born March 21, 1936 in Blackwell, son of Thomas T. Daugherty and Mary E. (DeClue) Daugherty.
We remember Joe who dedicated several years of his career to the LP gas industry.
Joe was a charter member of the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiff. He loved listening to bluegrass music, woodworking, gardening, fishing, being outside working on the farm, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. 
Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Juanita Marie (Thurman) Daugherty of Cadet, sons, Andrew (Bonnie) Daugherty of Cadet, R. Tim (Jean) Daugherty of Blackwell, Anthony Daugherty of Colorado Springs, CO, daughters, Connie (Wilfred) Boyer of Cadet, Patricia (Russell Bange) Daugherty of Park Hills, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 more on the way, in addition to other loving family members and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers, J. Glen Daugherty, Tom Daugherty, Cecil Daugherty, Mike Daugherty, Regis Daugherty, James Daugherty, sisters, Sister Marie Daugherty, Helen Sander, Lucy Lally, and Patricia Meyer.
Services were private.
