Diane Riddle

Diane Riddle, a beloved member of her community, passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on February 18, 1948, in Cadet, Diane brought joy to all those who knew her. Her vibrant personality and love for life were evident in the way she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Diane was a faithful member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, where she found both solace and joy in her faith. She enjoyed attending mass regularly, embodying a spirit of devotion that was an integral part of her life. A fun-loving soul, Diane always sought out the company of others, and her zest for life left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was united in marriage to Michael "Mike" Riddle on May 27, 1967 and they lovingly shared 50 years together.
She is survived by her two sons, Steve Riddle and his wife Jessica, of Cadet and Shane Riddle and his wife Tabitha, of Potosi. Diane's legacy continues through her siblings, her sister Elaine Juliette and her husband Jerry, of Cadet; her brothers Mike Coleman and his wife Debbie, of Cadet, and Anthony "Yogi" Coleman, of Blackwell. Diane was also a proud grandmother to many, including Stevie (Alex) Nelson, Lydia Riddle, Ella Riddle, Beau Riddle, Jake Coffey (Hannah), Blaine Riddle, and Kennedi Riddle, and she adored her great-granddaughter, Bella;  step grandchildren, Wyatt (Jaiden) Bust, Garrett Randall, and Dylan Randall; step great grandchild, Jagger Bust.  She is also remembered fondly by her brother-in-law, Allen Riddle, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss her deeply.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Mike" Ray Riddle, as well as her parents, Cynthia and Everett Steven Coleman. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Carol Coleman, Kelly Coleman, and Joyce Bouresaw, and her brothers, Edward, Dick, David, and Joseph Coleman. Her family and friends find comfort in the many memories they shared with her over the years.
Visitation for Diane was held Sunday, March 30th from 4 to 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Visitation resumed Monday, March 31st from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the same location. 
Funeral services were held Monday, March 31st at 10 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines with Father Tony Dattilo officiating. 
Burial and final prayers took place at St. Joachim Cemetery in Old Mines. Serving as pallbearers were Jacob Coffey, Beau Riddle, Richard Coleman, Kyle Whitehead, Mark Riddle, Eric Coleman, Shawn Coleman, Brian Harris, and Boone Morgan. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore funeral Home in Potosi.
