Caleb Lawson

Caleb Levi Lawson of Blackwell, a beloved father, husband, son, brother, grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and child of the king of kings, Jesus Christ was born March 15, 1995 in Farmington, a son to Lillian Lawson and Bobby Lawson. Caleb departed this life March 21, 2025 having reached the age of 30 years.
On January 8, 2017 Caleb was united in marriage to Julia Ann Lawson and they lovingly shared 8 years together.
Caleb is survived by his wife, Julia Lawson and their five children; mother, Lillian Lawson of Cadet; father, Bobby Lawson and wife Shawn Lawson; sisters and brothers, Hannah Lawson of Cadet, Abigail Lawson, Rachel Lawson, Lydia Lawson; brothers, Joshua Lawson, Bobby Lawson, Jacob and wife Jennifer Lawson of Cadet, Abraham Lawson of Belleview, Issac Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Aaron and wife Shannon Lawson of Potosi, Benjamin Lawson, Nathan Lawson, David Lawson of Cadet; In-laws, Matthew Niehaus of Caledonia, Stephanie and Rodney Rawlins of Potosi; brothers and sister-in-law, Steven, Savannah and husband Richard House, and Zack; grandfather, John Moore of Irondale; grandmother, Kelly Nickelson of Park Hills. Caleb is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, along with his sisters and brothers in Christ.
Caleb was preceded in death by his grandparents, Velma Moore, Robert “Bob” Moore, and William and Evelyn Lawson.
Caleb was a talented young man. He was a published author, published song writer and composer. He was a compassionate, caring person in all he did. He always tried his best to help someone in need. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Caleb touched many lives in his short time with us and will be greatly missed by many of the people he came in contact with and more so by all of his family, immediate, extended and church. We have the blessed assurance through Jesus Christ and what he did for each and every person by his death and resurrection. It will be a short time before we are reunited with Caleb.
Visitation for Caleb was held Friday, March 28th from 4 to 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Visitation resumed Saturday, March 29th from 9 to 11 A.M. at the same location with the funeral service taking place at 11 A.M. with Pastor Steve Jackson officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at the Lawson Family Cemetery in Cadet. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Moore, Zack Niehaus, Abe Lawson, Aaron Lawson, Isaac Lawson and Ben Lawson.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
