Allen Shepard

Allen Ray Shepard, Sr., born on May 24, 1957, in Bonne Terre, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025. During his lifetime, Allen was known as a friend to all and cherished the moments he spent with family. His warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Ina Fitzgerald, and stepfather, Robert "Bob" Fitzgerald, both residing in Branson. Allen was a proud father to his son, Allen Shepard, Jr., of Columbia, Missouri; a sister Janet and husband Kevin Jaco of Eagle Rock; two nephews Todd of Round Rock, Texas and Brian of Creve Coeur. He also leaves behind three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
Allen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Shepard, and his daughter, Amy Blakely. The legacy of love and connection he fostered throughout his life will continue to resonate within his family, reminding them of the cherished memories they created together. His kind spirit and dedication to those he loved will be fondly remembered and celebrated by all who knew him.
A graveside service was held Friday, February 7th at 1 P.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery in Old Mines.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
