Vincent Glen Trokey

Vincent Glen Trokey, a cherished member of his family, passed away on January 14th, 2025, in Farmington, Missouri. Born on July 6th, 1947, in Mineral Point, Missouri, Vincent lived a life rooted in love, dedication, and family, leaving behind a legacy that resonates deeply with all who knew him.
Vincent was a loving father, brother, and son known for his warm-hearted personality, finding joy in uplifting those around him. Vincent was also known as “Vince”, “Light Head”, and “Watermelon Man”, always ready to make a sale on his watermelons, and offering one to even those who may not be able to get one. Vincent was happily united in marriage to Mary Geraldine (Hinch) Trokey on February 14th, 1970, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiff, Missouri.
Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Hinch) Trokey, along with two daughters, Mary Angela Trokey of Mineral Point, MO, and Lisa Marie Williamson and husband Steven of Mineral Point, Missouri. He also leaves behind three sons: Vincent Trokey, Jr. of Potosi, MO, Anthony Trokey and wife Wendy of Springfield, Missouri, and Donald Britton of Mineral Point, MO. His siblings, who will carry his memories forward, include his sister Barbara Sellers and her partner Terry of Bismarck, MO; brothers Paul Trokey of Potosi, MO, Donald Trokey and his wife Vanessa of Farmington, MO, and Michael Trokey of Mineral Point, MO. Vincent is also survived by six grandchildren, Keith, Ashley, Meghan, Connor, Cooper, and Ethan; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Eretria, Jariah, and Percival, all of whom he loved dearly.
Vincent is preceded in death by his father, Perry Vincent Trokey, and his mother, Cecilia Florence Trokey, his twin infant sons, brother, Perry James "P.J." Trokey, and his great-granddaughter, Amberley.
In the hearts of his family and friends, Vincent will forever remain a source of love and inspiration, he will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Visitation for Vincent was held Friday, January 17 from 10AM-2PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services were held the same day at 2PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Father Tony Dattilo officiating.
Burial and final prayers were held at Calvary Cemetery in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Britton, Jr., Ethan Williamson, Donald Trokey, Brian Phipps, Connor Trokey, Cooper Trokey, T.J. Sero, and Keith Trokey.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
