Ramona Mesey

Ramona Theresa Lourdes Mesey of Cadet was born on January 11, 1947, in Racola and passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025. Ramona was a cherished member of her family and a beloved friend to many. Known for her fun-loving, adventurous, kind, and caring spirit, she brought joy to everyone around her.
Ramona is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Charles Mesey; two daughters, Theresa Mesey of Bonne Terre, Marcia Bone and husband Danny Bone of Cadet. She leaves behind three sons, John Mesey and wife Audria, of Potosi; Donald Mesey and Chris Benton of Auxvasse, Jason Mesey and wife Jackie, also of Potosi. Ramona also greatly valued her relationships with her siblings; she is survived by her sister, Martha Aubuchon of Potosi, and her brother, David Coleman, residing in Casper, Wyoming.
The legacy of Ramona's love continues through her grandchildren, including Teresa (Corey) Mesey, Jamie (Lester) Bridges, James "Bubby" (Brittany) Kircher, Amber Bone, John (Sylvia) Missey II, Daniel (Shannon) Bone II, Hannah (Kyrin) Kircher, Nicholas Mesey, Charlee Mesey, and Holly Mesey. Her affection extended to her great-grandchildren, Kaleb Stoneking, Silas Donahue, Lily Byerly, Carson Limberg, Wyatt and Waylon Bridges, Klayvin Boyster, Walker Bridges, Kaelynn Limberg, and Wesley Bridges.
Ramona was preceded in death by her son, Charles Mesey, her daughter, Lisa Marie Mesey, and her parents, Mary Irene (Robart) Coleman and Charles Leo Coleman.
Ramona enjoyed a wide array of hobbies; she loved spending time with her family, thrift shopping, visiting the casino, solving crossword puzzles, playing games on her iPad, and taking small trips, which made her life rich with experiences and cherished memories.
Visitation for Ramona was held Thursday, January 9th from 3 to 5 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with a memorial service beginning at 5 P.M. with Father Tony Dattilo officiating. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
