Rosario “Ross” Giovani Carrabino

Rosario “Ross” Giovani Carrabino, born on October 4, 1954, in St. Louis, passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 70. A beloved father, brother, grandpa, and friend, Ross lived a full life dedicated to family, having a good time, dreaming up big ideas, and building things.
Ross was the proud father of Tina Carrabino Collins and Julia Catherine Shinn and the cherished grandpa of Carter, Cole, Dean, and Opal. He was the devoted son of the late Charles and Mary Carrabino and a big brother to Sam and Johnny Carrabino. Ross was a loyal companion to Pam Jensen, and a second grandfather to Pam’s grandchildren Troy, Ryan, and Kyle.
Ross attended Christian Brothers College High School and continued his education at Saint Louis University and the University of Arizona. A skilled and hardworking craftsman, he built a successful career in construction. His talents were evident in the dream home he designed and built in Bonne Terre, Missouri, where he spent his later years.
Ross grew up in St. Louis but built his slice of heaven in Bonne Terre, enjoying a life filled with the things he loved most. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a dreamer and loved building things with his hands, entertaining friends at his home, and sharing good times over cigars and drinks with his buddies. Above all, Ross adored his daughters and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Ross was laid to rest in the White Cemetery, near his beloved home in Bonne Terre, where his spirit will remain close to the people and home he held dear.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the laughter, stories, and love he leaves behind.
