Clifford Dale Jarvis, known affectionately as Cliff, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on May 26, 1960, in Mineral Point, he was the cherished son of the late Donald and Jeuline Jarvis.
Cliff led a fulfilling life, defined by his love for family, passion for cars, and adventurous spirit. As a devoted father and grandfather, he took immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, often taking them to local destinations like Elephant Rocks and Johnson Shut-Ins. He was a wonderful Papa Cliff, never missing a birthday and always knowing just the right gift that would bring a smile to each child's face. His playful and caring nature ensured that every moment spent with his family was cherished.
Cliff's strong bond with his two sons, Jeremy and Mathew, was evident throughout his life. He raised his boys as a single dad, fostering a relationship built on mutual respect and love. Alongside his sons, Cliff thrived in various hobbies, including fishing, frequent visits to state parks, and a deep-seated love for fast cars. His enthusiasm for cars was particularly embodied in his pride for his Dodge Super Bee, a symbol of his early passion for rebuilding vehicles.
In addition to his immediate family, Cliff's life was enriched by the love of his partner, Sherry Ward. Their relationship was filled with joy, as he loved Sherry with all his heart and valued every moment spent together. Cliff leaves behind a family legacy, including his two sons, Jeremy (Shyanne) Jarvis and Mathew (Ginny) Jarvis; seven grandchildren that he adored, Alexis, Miley, Sophie, Graci, Jeremy “J.J.”, Emily, and Lindsey. He is also survived by five siblings, Sandy Trokey, Donna (John) Mills, Peggy Isbell, Bruce (Kim) Jarvis, and Alan Jarvis, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will remember him fondly.
