Bernard Price, a dedicated family man and hardworking individual, passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 58. Born on August 21, 1966, in Potosi, Bernard was known for his unwavering commitment to helping others and his deep love for his family.
Throughout his life, Bernard demonstrated a strong work ethic and a willingness to lend helping hand. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, mowing, and meticulously caring for his lawn.
Bernard is survived by his life partner, Joan Skaggs; daughter Alyssa Price and her partner Eric Coatney; son Bernard Price and partner Morgan Merlenbach; as well as his bonus children David, Keela, and Sabrina Skaggs. He is also survived by his sister Kristi Hill and her husband Larry of Cadet. He took great joy in being a grandfather to his beloved granddaughter Sylvia Coatney, as well as his bonus grandchildren Kendrick Rulo, Vivian Skaggs, Kinsley Skaggs, and Harper Short.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria (Emily) Price and Benny Price.
Bernard's legacy of hard work, dedication, and love will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation for Bernard was held Friday, October 25 from 3-6 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
A memorial service began at 6 P.M. the same evening with friends and family sharing special memories.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
