Diana Turntine Miller

October 10, 2024

Diana Turntine Miller of Bismarck passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at her home, having reached the age of 71. She was born in Farmington on October 22, 1952, to the late David and Dorothy (Hamby) Mosier.
Diana was someone who enjoyed life no matter the circumstances. She could often be found watching various church services on television. Diana especially enjoyed tuning in to Joel Osteen’s weekly services, ensuring everyone in the house was quiet until the service went off. Her family described her as having “never met a stranger.” Though she had a fond love for people, she had a special love for her great-grandkids, especially when it came to spoiling them with candy. She was a cherished mother and grandmother to all of her family, including those whom she “adopted” as her children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t spending time with those she held dear, she could be found on her front porch or with her K-9 companion, Rosco.
Diana leaves behind her daughter, Crystal Ballard (Brock); grandchildren, Rickey Turntine (Cagney Watson), Kaylin Turntine (Justin Harrington), Tyler Turntine, Kyle Turntine (Amanda Schlaefli), and Dustin Ratliff; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rita Rook, Connie Miller, Glenda Harbison, and Sharron Koch; Diana also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in passing by her husband Rickey Turntine of twenty years and Russell Miller of twenty years; daughter, Kelly McCubbins; and great-granddaughter Alyssa McConnell.
In honor of Mrs. Diana Turntine Miller, the family will later hold a private celebration of life service and they will lay her to rest at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Potosi.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
