Caledonia Methodist Auction Saturday, Dodged Rain, Had Good Participation
September 26, 2024
The Caledonia Methodist Church held its Annual Church Auction on Saturday, Sept. 21st, 2024. The congregation had put together a great selection of items from gently used to lots and lots of new items donated by area merchants. Some of the top ‘attention getters’ were all the canned items, from jams to pickles to salsa and more along with fresh baked goods. The biggest bid items were saved for the end of the Auction, as several hand done quilts were offered. The Church Ladies have a regular quilting club that works on items each week throughout most of the year. The Church thanked everyone for their support and participation. There were a lot people that came and went throughout the day. Several of the congregation took care of the concession stand and the auction clerk chores. The Church also thanked the auctioneers for their services - Andrew, Jamie and Josh.
A healthy Washington County requires great community news.
