HUGE CROWD AT ST. JOACHIM FALL FESTIVAL

Perfect weather, good food and good music and lots of games and activities had people stirring throughout the Parish grounds on Sunday, Sept. 8th, 2024 in Old Mines. There was a line for food in the cafeteria throughout the day. People were enjoying the gorgeous weather and fellowship throughout the afternoon. It seemed to be one of the largest turnouts in many years. At right, Miss Natalie Villmer got a special rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ marking her special day during the Fall Festival, as sung by ‘The Southside Creole Playboys’ who were entertaining during the afternoon. There was laughter and fun all afternoon across the grounds.
