Homegrown Farm Tour Is This Saturday - Begins at Courthouse with Farmers Market

The annual County Farm Tour is set for Saturday, August 24th, 2024 in Washington County. The day will offer several stops for a self-guided tour around the County.

The 'Home Grown Farm Tour' includes ten stops with three food stops added this year. The Tour stops include Old Man Nature River Retreat, Big River Alpacas, Rocking Goat Farm, Sunset at the Silos, Valley R-6 FFA Farm at Caledonia, Tri-Creek Cattle Company, Maupin Family Farm, Aptus Hook & Horn, Y.M.C.A. Equine Ranch and Edg-Clif Vineyard and Winery. The food stops are Farm & Charm from 10 a.m. To 12 noon; Saucy's from 12 noon to 2 p.m.; and Roma's from 3 to 5 p.m.

The day begins at the Washington County Courthouse parking lots with the 'Farm & Charm Morning Marketplace' that will feature local vendors, the County's Farmers Market and information about the tour and stops. The morning booths will be set up from 9 a.m. To approximately 12 noon.

To close out the day, there will be an evening of fun and music with a 'Sounds of Washington County' benefit concert and silent auction at Edg-Clif Winery on Highway AA from 6:30 p.m. To ?
