THANK A FARMER IN MISSOURI

The Washington County Commission passed a Proclamation to recog- nize Missouri farmers and especially local farmers and ranchers that help support our food supply. The Com- mission, 2nd District Cody Brinley, Presiding Dave Sansegraw, and 1st Distrtct Doug Short are pictured here with Jerry Richards (2nd from right) who represented the Washington County Farm Community during the reading of the Proclamation at the Monday, Feb. 26th, 2024 Commission Meeting. Jerry Richards is a farmer on the Mallow-Richards Farm and grows livestock for marketing. Richards, retired teacher from Potosi High School, also has been working with University of Missouri Extension as they continue efforts to eradicate problem feral hogs in the Ozarks.
