Shenanigan Sisters Musical Bingo Benefits Shayley’s Angels Sat., Feb. 17th

The Shenanigan Sisters have organized a benefit Musical Bingo with the proceeds to go to the Shayley’s Angels Organization on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at the Potosi Lions Den, located on Hwy. 185.

Shayley’s Angels is a well known local organization who helps with mental health and suicide awareness.

Every year Lela Thompson and her team from Shayley’s Angels all work very hard to honor her daughter, Shayley, and all the others in the community who have lost loved ones as well, to suicide.

Every year Shayley’s Angels typically host an annual auction with proceeds going to help with mental health and suicide awareness for the community. Lela and her team feel that any amount of awareness or support can maybe help save someone from having to go through this type of pain and loss.

Unfortunately, last year, in 2023, Shayley’s Angels were unable to host this event due to some life events, so this is where the Shenanigan Sisters want to step up and host the Musical Benefit to help by donating the proceeds to the Shayley’s Angels Organization to help give back!

The theme for this event is “Un-Valentine’s Love Yourself.” Too many of us need to learn to love ourselves more and to know that “It is okay to not be okay” at times in our life, but to know that their is help out there also! This is exactly why Shayley’s Angels was organized. The Shenanigan Sisters have also teamed up with Fyre Lake Winery again, who will be “Fyred Up” and ready sell some delicious wine, sangrias, mixed drinks and beer but they will also have non-alcoholic beverages as well for purchase.

The bingo will begin at 6 p.m. with a $10 admission per person. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing as well. This is a 16 years and older event.
