Salvation Army’s Local Business Ring Off Is Wednesday, Dec. 8th

November 08, 2023

The “Little Kettles” are out and these local businesses are collecting for a contest Dec. 8th.

The goal is to see who can raise the most money in their kettle from their customers in one business day.

Look for the familiar small red kettles of the Salvation Army at Shortstop (now Quick Stop), Gulf in Potosi, Hoot’s, Brown’s, Strauser Hair Cut, Main Street Market, Lou Lou’s, Family Steak House, Reed’s Relics, Salon 126, Subway, B & M Quickstop, Dos Primos, Miss Kim’s, Roy’s Belgrade, Old Village Mercantile, Roy’s Irondale, Boyer Lumber, Vitty & Co., Casey’s, Bin Pickin Bargains, Roy’s Springtown, Blue Haven Restaurant, Irondale, Smoker’s Outlet, Bearfoot, Russell’s, Harp’s, Pharmax Pharmacy, Dickey Bubs, Enhancements, Main Street Mercantile and Saucys Pizzeria, Old Mines.

Another way to donate is #OURTOWN. Simply text OURTOWN to 41444 and follow the prompts for Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Venmo to contribute to Salvation Army programs in our area.

For every dollar collected through donation, 85¢ stays in Washington County to help someone in need. Thanks to all the volunteers and donors and “Merry Christmas”!

“There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need.”
