Local Law Enforcement & Hospital
The Missouri Attorney General’s Office has announced that two law enforcement agencies and one medical facility in Washington County have received a Community Partner Award for their help with Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s Safe Kits Initiative.
The recipients of the awards are the City of Potosi’s Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the Washington County Memorial Hospital.
According to Missouri’s Attorney General Andrew Bailey, the awards were given to area law enforcement agencies and community partners for their dedication toward the eradication of untested sexual assault kits throughout the State.
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said, “We want to recognize our partners who have assisted in clearing the backlog of untested sexual assault kits throughout the State. The recipients and their efforts are vital to achieving justice for every victim of an unspeakable crime. We would not have made it this far without them.”
