Christmas For Kids 2023 Program Has Begun
The Christmas for Kids Program Committee have announced that they are now collecting for their 2023 Christmas project. A committee spokesperson said, "Last year we raised $20,000 and helped over 500 children in Washington County have gifts under their Christmas tree to open. Again this year, we expect several local children to be in need."
The committee is again asking for the County's help to make 2023 another success for the kids. Help can be items donated for the auction which will be live and in person this year; at the Potosi Elementary School. Children can be 'adopted' to buy presents for or new toys can be donated.
Monetary donations are gladly accepted and checks can be written to 'Christmas for Kids'. Donations can be dropped off at the Life Church, 402 N. Missouri Street, Potosi, Mo. 63664 or call Keith King or Mary Pickett at 573-438-5433 (Option #2); arrangements can be made for items to be picked up as well.
All proceeds go directly to helping Children in Washington County have gifts to open at Christmas.
Everyone is invited to the annual fund raising Auction at Potosi Elementary on Saturday, Nov. 4th, 2023. Doors open at 5 p.m. Refreshments and food items for dinner will be available for purchase.
All help with the program is appreciated! If you would like to volunteer or donate, please call or stop by Life Church on North Missouri Street.
The committee does ask for donations for the Auction by Wednesday, Nov. 1st so the items can be included in the list for the auction.
