199TH ANNUAL TYRO LODGE OFFICERS INSTALLED – The Tyro Masonic Lodge held their annual installation for officers on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at the Lodge Hall in the Village of Caledonia. [CALEDONIA] - On Saturday, July 1, 2023, the men of Tyro Lodge No. 12 A.F. & A.M. held their 199th annual installation of officers for the ensuing year. The installation started with a delicious dinner catered by Russell’s Café and a beautiful, decorated cake made by Cindy Merx of Sweet Memories. The dinner and installation were open to the family and the public.

After dinner, the 2023-2024 installation commenced with RW Bro. Josh Counts as Installing Worshipful Master, RW Bro. Kenneth McCutcheon as Installing Marshall and RW Bro. Caleb J. Tiefenauer as Installing Chaplain.

Installed elected officers for the ensuing year of the Lodge were newly-elected Worshipful Master Brandon A. Gregory, Senior Warden – RW Bro. Randy G. Wells, Junior Warden – RW Bro. Kevin L. Queen, Treasurer – RW Bro. Gary A. Causey, Secretary – Bro. John M. Robinson, III.

Appointed Officers installed were Chaplain – RW Bro. Caleb J. Tiefenauer (recent past Worshipful Master of the Lodge), Senior Deacon – RW Bro. Chad R. Lynn, Junior Deacon – RW Bro. Irv J. Schamel, Senior Steward – RW Bro. Daniel T. Robinson, Junior Steward – Jackson (Joe) Tiefenauer, Jr., Marshall – RW Bro. Randall L. Head, and Tiler – Bro. Larry W. Jones.

After the formal installation of officers, newly elected Worshipful Master Brandon A. Gregory presented the most recent past Worship Master Caleb J. Tiefenauer with an honorary past Master apron and pin at the altar. Everyone thanked Caleb for his year of service to the Lodge.

Tyro Lodge No. 12 A.F. & A. M. was chartered on April 7, 1825 and is preparing for its 200th anniversary next year. The Lodge is located in the Village of Caledonia.
