COUNTY CONSTRUCTION

Washington County has two projects underway at this time, both in ‘Downtown Potosi’, as a new building is under construction adjacent to the Court Annex building and the new Sheriff’s Administration Building is being built at the corner of West High Street and South Mine. The new office building will be built joining the existing Court Annex structure with space for University of Missouri Extension and the Juvenile Division as well as storage for the County. The structure is a single level design. The Sheriff’s Administration building will be two floors with entry at ground level for both. The building will join the existing jail that sits along South Mine Street. Both projects are moving along with concrete poured at both sites.
