Susan G. Komen® Celebrate 25 Years of Impact in St. Louis, Hosts MORE THAN PINK Walk
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, JUNE 9, 2023 – Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, is hosting the 2023 Greater St. Louis MORE THAN PINK Walk on Saturday, June 10 in Tower Grove Park. The Walk is Susan G. Komen’s annual fundraising event where family and friends celebrate breast cancer survivors and honor those who have passed away from the disease. This year’s event commemorates 25 years of impact in the St. Louis region.
The Walk will raise critical funds that support research and critical support services for breast cancer patients, including navigation services. Breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic disease can enjoy a light breakfast and visit other survivors in Hope Village. Top Fundraisers will be given royal treatment in the VIPink area. The Walk site and activities open at 7:30 AM. The program starts at 9:00 AM with the Parade of Hope taking place shortly after.
Kay Quinn, from Komen’s Mission partner, 5 On Your Side, will serve as emcee of the 2023 MORE THAN PINK Walk. Sponsors for the event include Bank of America, Walgreens, Dowd Bennett, Edward Jones and the St. Louis Cardinals. Walk participants will include breast cancer survivors, metastatic breast cancer thrivers, co-survivors and supporters of Susan G. Komen.
