Mary Ann Politte
Mary Ann Politte, a beloved member of her community, passed away on May 18, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 23, 1946, in Blackwell, Missouri to the late Mary Lillian (Coleman) Luther and Robert Ellis Luther.
Mary Ann led a fulfilling life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the loving wife of the late Ronnie Politte sharing 25 wondrous years before his passing in 2009. Her proudest accomplishments were raising her family. She never failed to make them feel loved beyond measure. Anyone who knew her can say that Mary Ann had a heart of gold, always putting others before herself. In addition to being an amazing mother and grandmother, Mary Ann was well-known for being fun-loving, happy, caring, and incredibly loving. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends making memories that they would always treasure. Mary Ann was an active member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Cadet. She loved attending church services and helping with anything the church required.
Family meant everything to Mary Ann. She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Jean "Jeanne" Ramsey and Ashley and Zach Jacobsen, step-daughters Kim and Beth Politte and Wendy Page; son, David Eckhoff and Christy Hanson; brothers, Robert and Deanna Luther, Walter and Faye Luther, Danny Luther; sisters, Karen and Glen Kincaid, Barbara Politte, Erma Robertson; grandchildren, Nicki, Lindsey, Dillon and wife Houston, Blakely, Chesney, Evan; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bailey, Alayna, Nolan, Matthew, Grace, Milo.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Angie Bouse, Kimberly Eckhoff; grandson, David Eckhoff, Jr.; sister, Catheryn Juliette; brothers, Junior Luther, Doug Luther, Billy Luther; and brother-in-law, Curtis Politte.
Visitation services for Mary Ann were held at Moore Funeral Homes on May 22 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and May 23 from 8:30 - 9:30 am. A funeral service was held at St. Joachim Catholic Church on May 23 at 10:00 am. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in St. Joachim Cemetery next to her loving husband, Ronnie. Pallbearers were Zach Jacobsen, Dillion Bouse, Jorden Drummond, Tyler Ramsey and Jeff Campbell.
Mary Ann will never be forgotten, as she left a lasting impact on everyone she met. May she rest in peace, and may her loved ones find comfort in their memories of her and the joy that she brought to their lives.
