Adam "A.J." Boyer, loving husband, father, son, grandson, and friend passed away on May 1st, 2023. He was born on September 1st, 1984 in Farmington to Danny Boyer and the late Tammy Lynn Boyer. Adam graduated from Potosi High School in 2003 and went on to become an accomplished diesel mechanic and automotive detailer.


Adam's helpful and loving personality will be missed by all those who knew him. He had a kind heart and always had a smile on his face. His daughter was the light of his life and he loved spending time with her. In his free time, Adam enjoyed playing music, bull riding, cleaning and working on cars and visiting with friends.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Boyer; daughter Jolynn Boyer; father, Danny Boyer; grandmother, Rebecca Boyer; aunts, Sherrie Cresswell-Eye and husband Mike, Robin Boyer, Marcie Ann Boyer; uncles, Martin "Marty" Boyer and wife Michelle, and Tim White; along with many great aunts, uncles, cousins and countless dear friends.

Adam was predeceased by his mother Tammy Lynn Boyer as well as grandparents, Dale E. and Juanita (Harbison) Nicholson and Joy W. Boyer; aunt, Lisa White; uncles Jim Cresswell, Billy Joe Boyer and Jeffrey Boyer.

Adam will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. His kind heart and loving personality will never be forgotten as they live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 P.M. on May 5th at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi followed by visitation from 9 to 11 A.M. on May 6th at the same location. Funeral services were held at Moore Funeral Home, Potosi at 11 A.M. with Rev. Bob Bullock officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at the Nicholson Family Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Scott Bailey, Larry Cresswell, Don Michael Eye, Chase Boyer, Cliff Coleman and Jimmy Bergner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Potosi High School Class of 2003 Memorial Fund. An account has been established at Belgrade State Bank.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
