The Children’s Division of the 24th Circuit are inviting everyone to participate in the 3rd Annual Child Abuse Awareness Parade and Event. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29th, 2023.

Following the parade, there will be vendors and entertainment, food and fun for children of all ages set up at the Washington County Courthouse.

There will be food trucks and vendors set up behind the County Courthouse and in the Towne Square parking lot. The event is planned to go through the day and conclude at approximately 3 p.m.

The theme for the event this year is “Children Need Heros, Be One!”.

The color is blue and everyone is encouraged to decorate and are also welcome to participate in the parade.

There will be window painting in ‘Downtown Potosi’ the week before the event. The schools are also having a ‘Spirit Week’ the week of the parade with different themes each day and everyone wearing blue on that Friday, April 28th.
