Debrah Coleman Evans also affectionately known as “Debbie” went to be with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, on Friday evening, March 10th, 2023, at the age of 73. Debbie was born on August 7th, 1949 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William Howard Turner and Betty Jean (Pearce) Turner.

On December 16, 1967, Debbie was united in marriage to Gary “Fuzz” Coleman at Potosi Presbyterian Church and they shared nearly fifty years of marriage together. A son was born to this union. Debbie worked alongside her husband, Fuzz, in the trucking industry for many years. After Fuzz passed in 2017, Debbie later remarried David Evans on July 10, 2021 at the Stony Point Missionary Baptist Church and they shared nearly two years together. Debbie and David enjoyed each other’s company and their trips to Branson, vacationing, and camping. Debbie was a faithful member of Stony Point Missionary Baptist Church where she served as church clerk and pianist and enjoyed singing for the Lord. In addition, Debbie was an incredible seamstress for many years as well as bookkeeper for many local companies.

Those who remain to treasure her memory include her husband, David Evans; son, Scott Coleman (wife, Mary); two grandsons, Lane Coleman (wife, Shelby) and Cole Coleman; three sisters, Rebecca Boggess, Kay King, and Holly Turner; two step children, Chris Jarvis (husband, Mac Jr.), and David Evans Jr. "Petey" (wife, Andrea); four step grandchildren, Josh (Ally) Jarvis, Kaiden Heltsley, Gemma Evans, and Abel Evans; and step great granddaughter, Lily Grace Jarvis. Debbie also leaves behind in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Gary “Fuzz” Coleman and many other dear relatives.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 14th from 5 to 8 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Wednesday, March 15th from 10 to 11 A.M.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the DeClue Chapel. Pastor Claude Evans officiated. Interment followed at the Coleman Family Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
