William “Bill” Ross Moore of Wentzville was born December 3, 1956 in Englewood, Colorado, a son to the late Bob Ross Moore and Beverly “Kitty” Moore. Bill departed this life Saturday, March 4, 2023 having reached the age of 66 years, 3 months, and 1 day.

On October 17, 1987 Bill was united in marriage to Connie (Smith) Moore and were blessed with two children and 35 loving years together.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Connie of Wentzville; son, Bryan Smith of Wentzville, Katie Moore of Kirkwood; sisters, Clara Lynn Dunn and husband Delane of Clarksville, Georgia, Cindy Schallenberg and husband Dolph of Washington; brothers, James “Jim” Moore and wife Sherry of Potosi, John Moore and wife Tina of Potosi; grandchildren, Mason, Kolette, Kaden and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends.

Bill was a 66 year old husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He officially retired from corporate America in 2019 from Siemens and took a year off putting around the house and walking his dog Baxter. After a year of retirement he decided to open his own business, Hounds Town, a dog boarding and playground hub for animal and animal lovers. He spent a year getting it all ready and he officially opened shop in March 2021. He spent a full year working to get Hounds Town up and running and set it up for success. He was an extremely hard working man that loved providing for his family. Prior to Hounds Town, St.  Charles, a doggie daycare, boarding and spa facility, Bill loved to spend time with his 3 grandkids and being goofy with them as well as spending time with his family and Baxter. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, mowing his lawn and puttering around in his garage. His family loved him very much and will miss him every day.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
