Rickey Gene White

Rickey Gene White of Blackwell was born on June 13, 1953, in St Louis, a son of the late Clyde William White and Myra Louise (Macklin) White. Rickey passed away on February 21, 2023, having reached the age of 69.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife of ten years, Sue White; children, Tawana McQueen; step-daughter, Jamie McNutt; mother-in-law, Rhonda Harrison; sister, Barb Patty (husband, Jeff); special friends, Wayne Alan Kelley and Harlie Kellie; special friends of 45 years, Pat and Judy Harmon; special friends, Pat & Den Wilde & Gene; dear neighbor, Bob Berger; fur baby, Xena Star; and his "adopted" dogs of neighbors, Lily Pad and Molly Hatchet. Rickey also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary White; and other family members.

Rickey was in several Civil War reenactments, and loved anything to do with the civil war. He was a big Trump supporter and all for the Second Amendment. He loved animals, especially dogs, and would adopt any of them he came in contact with.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 1st from 11 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi.

Interment was held on Thursday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to a no kill shelter of your choice.
