Spring Municipal Elections – ABSENTEE VOTING NOW UNDERWAY AT CLERK’S OFFICE IN COURTHOUSE

Absentee voting is underway and began on Tuesday, Feb. 21st, 2023 for the Spring Elections to be held April 4th across Missouri.

Absentee ballots can be cast in person at the Washington County Clerk’s Office on the main level of the County Courthouse or can be requested by mail from local election authorities, until Wednesday, March 22nd.

Voting is available for those wishing to cast their ballot by Absentee from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (unless the Courthouse is closed). Absentees can also be cast on Saturday, April 1st from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Courthouse.

Several races are on a variety of ballot types across Washington County with school boards, fire districts, municipalities and more.

Voter registration is open until Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.

If you have moved, remember to update your voter registration. Your address has a direct effect on where you vote! Taking care of your registration ahead of time helps the process and the election judges. Please bring a piece of mail or something as proof of residence for your physical address when registering or updating your registration.

The County Clerk’s Office also reminds everyone to bring a photo ID with you to vote!
