Ona Marie Bohannon

Ona Marie Bohannon of Potosi, was born on March 17, 1937, in St. Louis, a daughter of the late Ervin Dunham and the late Barbara (Arlesic) Dunham. Ona passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, having reached the age of 85.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Janet Cosby (husband, John Jr.), Peggy Hollinsworth (husband, Gary), Paula Glore (husband, Bill), Jess Neal (wife, Wendy); nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, William Gibson; and many other dear relatives.

In addition to her parents, Ona was preceded in death by her husband, William “Sonny” Bohannon on June 1, 2002; daughter, Dianne Bohannon; siblings: Catherine Neal, Mary Ann Saunders, Ervin Edward Dunham, Robert Lee Gibson, Freddie Dunham, Melvin Dunham and Joyce Schultz.

A Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 5 to 8 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation continued on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 9 A.M. until the time of her service at 11 A.M., at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Shirley Union Cemetery in Shirley.
